EURO 2008 Visa for Switzerland and Austria

During the European Championship 2008 Austria and Switzerland will grant so-called EURO 2008 Visas valid for both countries.

As a service to EURO 2008 visitors the Austrian Federal Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the Austrian Federal Ministry of the Interior and the Swiss Federal Office for Migration inform on entry procedures for the EURO 2008 on their websites.

Service-oriented visa procedure

Throughout the duration of the European Championship, entry into the EURO host countries will be made easier. Austrian representations abroad can issue specially labelled EURO 2008 Visas, which, apart from being valid in the Schengen area, will also authorize their holders to enter Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein.
