The EURO 08 final is history and with a small review we also want to officially conclude fanline08.at.

One day before the big final match Austrian Airlines let the winners of the prize winning competition and celebreties lift off in an Airbus A320. This way they were able to view the four stadiums of the Austrian host cities from a bird’s eye view.

Group B: The end of a dream

All hopes are gone: Austria failes beating the Germans. After Ballack’s 1-0 score Germany will head into the quarter finals. Croatia fortifies ambitions for a EURO victory with 1-0 over Poland - it is the only nation so far that scored a maximum of points.

Group B: Croatia remains - Austria open

After a 2-1 victory over Germany Croatia will head into the quarter finals. With a 1-1 equalizer over Poland by a Vastic penalty in the last minute Austria still has chances to rise.

Group B: The EURO is not yet lost for Austria

On the second EURO 08 day Austria met Croatia and Germany met Poland. In the end we saw almost a copy of the first EURO day.
