Group A: Turkey defeats the Czech Republic

Only football has such dramas in store! Turkey turned the score against the Czech Republic from 0-2 to 3-2 and rises into the quarter finals. In the meantime Switzerland celebrates its only group victory (2-0) over a Portuguese B-selection.

Group A: The sky was crying above Switzerland

In the afternoon the football-crazy Portuguese secured their participation in the quarter finals by a 3-1 victory over the Czech Republic. In an evening tempest a Turkish goal in the last minute quenched the smallest Swiss hopes for a rise: 1-2.
